The IB Diploma Programme at Richmond Secondary School is an academically rigorous, internationally recognized program that requires students to undertake coursework during Grades 11 and 12.
IB Students in Richmond High develop self-knowledge, value community involvement, and learn to manage their time effectively. Diploma Candidates develop perseverence, resilience and resourcefulness as they manage the demands of the Programme. The proven academic success of RHS IB students facilitates post-secondary access, advanced standing, and University Credits.
IB Students at Richmond High can choose from 20 IB Course offerings in 6 areas of study.

Assessment in the IB Diploma Programme is different than in the BC Graduation Program. In each subject area, to fulfill the requirements of the IB Diploma Programme, Candidates must complete rigorous Internal Assessments and sit comprehensive final examinations.
The IB Diploma Programme Coordinator is Mr. Dave Miller. He always has time to talk.
