Completing an IB Diploma requires students to recognize the importance of time management. Given that there are a number of competing demands for a student’s time and attention in the Diploma Programme, students develop the ability to prioritize their activities.
The IB Diploma Programme allows students to develop their time management skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. Over the two years of the Diploma Programme, students have repeated opportunities to learn how to manage their time while they are in our safe and understanding community. Developing this ability is critical, as it allows a busy person to remain balanced while being active, both personally and socially, and engaged in their community.
In many ways, the ability to manage time effectively is what distinguishes university students from high school students, and adults from children. One of the chief benefits of the IB Diploma Programme is that it guides students through this transition in a safe and supportive fashion.
